L-ARGININE

L-arginine is an amino acid that can be produced by the body to some extent. In certain situations such as physical exertion, stress and growth phases, the need for L-arginine is increased, which is why it has to be supplied with food. Especially plant-based foods such as tofu, walnuts, legumes and almonds are a good source of L-arginine.

Nitric Oxide Production

As a proteinogenic amino acid, L-arginine is a component of body proteins and therefore also of muscles. It is also known for its role as the sole precursor of nitric oxide (NO). NO is an endogenous substance that promotes vasodilatation and thus increases the supply of oxygen and nutrients to muscles and other tissues. For this reason, L-arginine is particularly valued as a dietary supplement by athletes in the areas of strength training and bodybuilding.

L-Arginine Base vs. L-Arginine HCL

For our product we have chosen the raw material L-arginine base, the pure form of the amino acid. In contrast, the raw material L-arginine HCL contains the amino acid L-arginine bound to the hydrochloric acid compound hydrochloride. As a result, preparations with L-arginine HCL have a significantly lower arginine content. This is often only about 70-85% of the total amount. The L-arginine content of our product is regularly checked by laboratory analyses.

Our L-arginine is obtained from the fermentation of plant-based raw materials. We also do without animal ingredients such as gelatine, which can be found in comparable preparations, in the capsules.

Consumption recommendation

We recommend taking 1 capsule per day 30 to 45 minutes before training with at least 300 ml of liquid.

During intensive training, the dose can be increased to 6 capsules.
